Design, plant, and build with the health of the land in mind.
My experience over the past twenty five years as a landscape designer includes residential, small commercial, institutional and community design and land use planning.
My design approach is informed by urban ecology, my recent work in green infrastructure design and planning, and by my love of the Hudson Valley landscape.
Our decisions at even the smallest sites, and at every stage of the process, have consequences elsewhere--in the surrounding community, downstream from us, and up in the atmosphere. If we choose to partner with nature, and make the most of the ecosystem services nature provides, each site will be richer and more beautiful, and we all will benefit.
